The CSIRO site on Banks Street is a heritage listed precinct. YRA surveyed the Yarralumla community to seek their views on the development proposed for the site. 266 residents of Yarralumla shared their views by completing the survey.

The Canberra Southern Cross Yacht Club has applied to the National Capital Authority for approval to refurbish Snapper On the Lake and the ground floor of the Club and construct a new outdoor dining area, including a pop-up bar and gelato café.
