The Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Light Rail Stage 2B has been issued by the ACT Government. This is now on public exhibition and invites submissions from the public. Submissions are due by 5 September 2025.

After many years of lobbying by YRA the government has scheduled much needed safety improvements for Yarralumla. The projects are jointly funded by the Australian Government under their Roads Safety Program

Did you know that there are numerous fire hydrants located around our suburb? The familiar red fire hydrants are largely a thing of the past. These days hydrants are in-ground and identified only by nondescript square metal panels on verges by the road. The location of these hydrants should be identified by a blue reflector in the centre of the road and/or the letters FH on the kerb. Both the FH and the blue reflector show which side of the road the hydrant is located.

Yarralumla Residents Association invites our community - all those who live, play, work, or go to school in Yarralumla - to share a free and fun afternoon celebrating our community and the festive season. Jackos pizza van or byo picnic. Band, dancing, kids activities, and several local businesses have donated vouchers for us to give away on the day.
