Background
Proposals to relocate Floriade to Weston Park and/or the Brickworks have been floated from time to time over many years.
The Yarralumla Residents Association issued a press release on 15 October 2007 when it was advised that the proposal was being consideed once again.
The ACT government provided quick assurance that Floriade would not be located as proposed and the Yarralumla Residents Association issued another press release on 17 October 2007 praising the decision.
