Following a trial flight last December, the National Capital Authority (NCA) has released a discussion paper for public comment concerning possible seaplane operations on Lake Burley Griffin. Operations would involve landing, take-off and taxiing on the Lake, as well as mooring to load and unload passengers. You can find the NCA discussion paper here.
YRA has prepared a draft submission raising concerns including the safety of lake users from seaplane operations on the lake. You can read YRA's submission here
