Residents of Yarralumla and Deakin are invited to a joint information session hosted by the Deakin and the Yarralumla Residents Associations.
The ACT Government is in the final stages of consulting on its proposed new planning framework that will introduce major change across the board. The District Strategies, in particular, set out the proposed extent and types of development of districts and suburbs in terms of urban densification and commercial development over the next 40 years.
This is an opportunity to hear about the new framework, ask questions and share your perspectives. Speakers at the meeting will identify and discuss the relevant issues that impact on Yarralumla and Deakin. You will be able to find out how the proposed changes are likely to affect your suburb and community and your street.
